Yes, buying a business with financial challenges can end up being a recipe for disaster in your world. So, find out all you can on a company’s assets and liabilities. The hope is it has a lot more of the former than the latter.

  • Promoting the company – What type of job you do in promoting the company will go a long way in how successful you are. That said use all the brand promotional tools at your disposal to get the job done.
  • Knowing when to sell – There may well come a day when you will look to sell your business. Having a good sense of timing is key. You do not want to sell too soon or wait too long to move on from the business.
