Food experts understand the struggle to select the right juice recipes for diabetics. I can feel the chaos too. Not because of being an expert in any field but, a diabetic parent teaches you all the rules. Most of my friends are conscious about the collection of juicers in my kitchen. Interestingly, almost beverages they find on my Instagram account are for my mother.

Last weekend, one of my colleagues asked for advice of juices for her diabetic spouse. Therefore, I came up with the idea of this article. We must understand that diabetes does not prevent us from natural juicing. Here is a list of seven delicious juices every diabetics need!

When suffering from diabetes, your body stops to produce the optimum amount of insulin it needs. As a result, your blood sugar levels rise. It is the prime reason for a diabetic to prevent sugar intake.

  3. Tomatoes, Watercress, And Parsley Juice
  4. Cucumber And Celery Juice

Celery and Spinach Juice

Ingredients

  • Spinach – 4 Handfuls
  • Celery Stalks With Leaves – 2
  • Carrot – 1 Small
  • Green Apple – 1
  • Cucumber – 1 (Optional)

Recipe

  1. Wash all the ingredients properly.
  2. Peel the carrot, green apple, and cucumber, if added.
  3. Throw these in your juicer after removing apple seeds.
  4. Juice all ingredients with celery and spinach.

Carrots and celery contain potassium. It helps to treat high blood pressure in diabetics. Further, spinach comprises vitamin A, B6, and C to provide health benefits. Green apples also help to control sugar level.

String Beans and Brussels Sprouts Juice

Ingredients

  • Brussels Sprouts – 10-12
  • String Beans – 2 Cups
  • Cucumber – 1-2 (Optional)
  • Lemon – 1 Peeled

Recipe

  1. Wash all the ingredients properly.
  2. Throw Brussels sprouts in your juicer and juice it.
  3. Add the string beans and cucumber to juice further.
  4. Now, add the peeled lemon and juice again.
  5. Add filtered water if the beverage is too thick and stir.

Brussels sprouts and string beans are a key source of vitamin B6. These help to maintain insulin levels in your body.

Tomatoes, Watercress, and Parsley Juice

Ingredients

  • Watercress – 6 Sprigs
  • Parsley – 1 Handful
  • Tomatoes – 2
  • Apple – 1

Recipe

  1. Wash all the ingredients properly.
  2. Cut the apple into wedges and make sure to remove its seeds and core.
  3. Throw all ingredients in the juicer and mix well.

Daily consumption of green apples helps to lower cholesterol levels. Tomato juice is also a rich source to prevent cardiovascular diseases. Besides, watercress contains vitamin B6 and antioxidants to maintain the heart health of diabetics.

Cucumber and Celery Juice

Ingredients

  • Celery Stalks – 3
  • Cucumber – 1 Small
  • Green Apple – 1

Recipe

  1. Wash all the ingredients properly.
  2. Separate the celery stalks from their heads and throw them into your juicer.
  3. Prepare an intact mixture from it.
  4. Slice the cucumber into two and run it into the juicer too.
  5. Peel and core the apple before you prepare chunks from it.
  6. Feed it into the juicer too and stir the juices together.

Kiwi, Kale, and Bell Pepper Juices

Ingredients

  • Kale – 2 Branches
  • Orange Bell Pepper – 1
  • Celery Stalks – 2
  • Beet With Leaves – 1
  • Kiwifruits – 3

Recipe

  1. Wash all the ingredients properly.
  2. Throw all ingredients except celery stalks into the juicer.
  3. Mix them all in the juicing chute and add celery too.
  4. Stir up the mixture and add ice cubes if needed.

Celery, Parsley, and Spinach Juice

Ingredients

  • Spinach – 4 Handfuls
  • Celery Stalks – 2
  • Parsley – 1 Handful
  • Carrot – 1 Small
  • Green Apple – ½

Recipe

  1. Wash all the ingredients properly.
  2. Throw the carrot in your juicer and prepare a mixture.
  3. Feed spinach, celery, and parsley one by one in the juicer.
  4. Now, prepare chunks of the apple and run it into the juicer as well.

This recipe is a combination of sodium, potassium, and other minerals. These together can control your blood sugar levels naturally.

Kale and Spinach Juice

Ingredients

  • Kale – 1 Bundle
  • Spinach – 1 Bundle
  • Berries – 1 Handful

Recipe

  1. Wash all the ingredients properly.
  2. Tear spinach and kale into pieces before you run them through your juicer.
  3. Add berries to the juicer and mix well.
  4. Finally, stir the mixture with a spoon for a perfect flavour.
